Part 1 highlights the history of the Middle East from 1900 until World War II when the area was largely dominated by the Ottoman Empire. When the empire sided with Germany against Britain in WWI the British incited Arabs to rebel against their rulers.
Part 2 during WWII saw the Arabs driven by British colonialsm to support the Axis and Britain sought to maintain its dominion over the Holy Land and other areas of the Middle East.
Part 3, in the post WWII period saw the struggle of Middle Eastern people throw off British hegemony in the area. Nasser seeks to modernize Egypt, and to drive the British and French from their control of the Suez Canal.
Part 4 highlights the late 50s & 60s to see the Israeli succeed in annexing large portions of Biblical Israel, and bringing to justice the Nazi murderer Adolf Eighmann.
