Sale raises $1500 for PA, Kentucky Missions

Despite a tough economy, the Mission Team at Asbury United Methodist Church in Erie was able to raise $1500 tin a rummage sale to benefit The Refuge, an Erie United Methodist Alliance facility that offers shelter to homeless families, as well as help to fund a trip to volunteer at Red Bird Mission in Kentucky.
“Despite the economy, we doubled what we have done in the past!” said one church member.
She offered thanks for all those who contributed, helped with sorting and selling and moving all the leftover items to the Erie Alliance’s Rainbow Connection thrift for further sale proceeds.
