Word from Jerusalem - Egypt Protest Will Affect Palestine

 I greet you again from Jerusalem.  Some of you are aware that just before Christmas I was diagnosed with a benign spinal tumor and ended up having surgery here in Jerusalem.  I am well and healing and am back at Sabeel after 3 weeks in Pittsburgh for Christmas.   This past week has seen encouraging signs of non-violent protest in Egypt which will have significant implications for all of the Middle East.  I would encourage you to go to the following link to read an article by Ali Abunimah on  how this movement by the people in Egypt could affect Palestine.  Blessings and peace, Tina
